In this sound library you will find some extremly rare vintage contact printer sound effects. The sounds have been recorded at a former state security prison in Berlin-Hohenschoenhausen and can’t be found anywhere else. The device has been used by department XIV of MfS/Photo laboratory for making contact prints.

You will hear:

• the operation of the lever for the flap in which the photographic negative is inserted and fixed in an opaque manner
• buttons for setting the exposure time
• different toggle switches
